
- Coverage provided is against unavoidable loss of berry clusters resulting directly from freeze or frost.
- Damage must occur after at least 5 leaves have unfolded and inflorescence is clearly visible and before the beginning of berry ripening.
- The carrier establishes the amount of coverage per acre available, and a 5 percent (5%) deductible will be applied to any loss payment due.
- All vineyards of the same type of grape must be insured
- Insurance ends the earliest of:
a.
The beginning of berry ripening (veraison);
b. Total destruction of the insured crop;
c. Final adjustment of the loss;
d. October 1st of the crop year insured.
